Principal Project Manager(Engineering)

Role and responsibility:

• Manage projects with the development team consisting of engineers. Taking full accountability for project planning, organizing, execution, QA, and delivery.
• Drive best practices internally and with our customers while ensuring that Cerence technology is optimally integrated to deliver superior speech recognition performance and end-user satisfaction
• Provide regular and accurate project baseline reports and follow up with billing schedules in Cerence system.
• Coordinate project execution with the Cerence R&D team and PS specialists in local and international offices.
• Organize and lead the meetings and workshops with the customer to introduce Cerence technology and solutions, and help customers understand the collaboration model in the project.
• Help the account team to approach potential customers for new opportunities by hosting product/solution workshops and presenting demos.
• Establish and maintain smooth communication and a solid and productive relationship with the customer through regular reporting, meetings, and follow-up

Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering required, MBA highly regarded
• 8+ years’ experience in software project management role
• Strong analytical, and progress control thinking skills.
• Highly energetic and passionate about bringing products and solutions to market. 
• Fluent in spoken English and excellent written English skills.
• A strong communicator and presenter with the ability to influence using English.
• Very strong communication skills, with engineers, sales, and product managers.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Prefer hardware and software integration solution background in auto OEM, T1, or IoT companies, ex. System Integration Engineer/Design Release Engineer of EE(Auto OEM)
